Traffic Building in my "Health" niche

Well, it’s almost the end of October 2011 and in theory Brian should have wound up his 300 Internet Marketers course, but it seems the guy doesn’t know when to stop sometimes, which for course participants is not a bad thing.  He has way over delivered on the course which seems to be his style.

The amount of knowledge he has imparted is phenomenal.  At the beginning of the course, I bought a few domain names to build authority sites around, however have focused solely on my website in the weight loss and health niche.  I have been posting content to it on a daily basis to the point where it now has over 250 posts and some of the target pages are beginning to rank well for their search terms.  This has taken a while as they’re very competitive search terms with 15,000 + exact match searches every month.  The traffic has really started to mount over the past few weeks which is exactly what Brian predicted would happen (very little traffic for the first 3 – 4 months then a steep rise in traffic).

I’m just getting up to monetizing this site now so will report back in a month specifically how that is going.

Now this site has been developed, the goal is to continue to add fresh content to it every 3-4 days and continue back linking to improve the ranking of the target pages (the pages on the site target high volume competitive keywords while the posts target low volume easy to rank for keywords yet still generate a significant volume of traffic on their own.

That should be enough to keep the health site growing in size and increasing its rankings.  It’s now time to start all over again with a new site and duplicate what I’ve already done.  The difficulty is knowing which niche to enter next.  My wife has bought an excellent pregnancy domain name which is begging to be developed and I have a couple of other domains in the “learn Spanish” and “home made” stuff niche.  Any of them are highly profitable.  That’s it for this update.  If you’re keen to get on Brian’s next 300 Internet Marketers course, click through and sign up for the next one.  I think he’s going to launch it again in the new year – there are always only limited places available.  If you really want to learn internet marketing are serious about it and don’t mind doing the work, you won’t regret spending the money, I promise you!  It is huge value for money.
