Rank and Pillage is the latest internet marketing course released by Brian G. Johnson of 300 Internet Marketers, Halloween Super Affiliate and Commission Ritual fame.  Brian has teamed up with one of his previous students (Aidan Booth) who first got started with Brian when commission ritual was first released a few years ago.

The Rank and Pillage course was launched to the public on the 26th of July, 2011. The launch price is a low $77 (7 day trial for only $4.95) and the price will increase to $97 on the August 9th.

I’m writing this on Tuesday August 2nd, New Zealand time and have downloaded the core manual for the course and am diligently working my way through the content.

There are also a couple of upgrades which I’ve bought ($200)- GOLD Membership), including a 90 day boot camp with the opportunity to look over Aidan’s shoulder and follow along as he builds sites.  So far I can’t comment on these as the boot camp isn’t due to start for another week or so, but come back soon for an update if you’re interested.  The Platinum upgrade also includes access to Brian’s famous Halloween Super Affiliate program for an additional $297.  He has updated the course for 2011 and this course on its own previously sold for around $400, so huge value here.

The Core Manual is a 254 page pdf file with links to over 100 instructional videos (9 hours worth apparently – I didn’t time it!) located on the members website.

All of the videos are done by Aidan Booth which is good and bad.  On the up side, Aidan’s videos are more succinct and to the point, so you learn what you need to and move on to the next, where as Brian takes a more leisurely pace and sometimes get’s a bit off track, which means you learn other stuff along the way, but the videos are a bit longer.   The downside to Aidan’s style is that if you’re absolutely new to this, you may find his pace a bit quick to take it all in, so will need to go back and re-watch a few videos to ensure you’ve picked up on each step.  This is no big deal though (Read more about Brian’s style in my 300 Internet Marketers review)

All Above Board

All of the techniques and strategies used in this course are white hat (above board and ethical search engine optimization), not based on tricks, or loopholes and are therefore long term and sustainable.  This is one of the things that Brian continually focuses on in his courses – hard work and giving up on the idea of one click magic bullets.

So Many Ways to Make Money!

This course is absolutely packed with content.  It covers everything you need to know about on page and off page SEO techniques, with multiple backlinking techniques and strategies laid out steop by step.  Brian and Aidan also go into the details of creating a number of different types of income producing websites very small adsense sites for low volume, low competition keywords, to larger adsense sites for higher volume keywords, authority sites for Clickbank affiliate products, and mini sites monetized with either Amazon products or Commission Junction affiliate links.

Rank and Pillage also covers in depth how to capitalize on other people’s product launches and build sites to earn affiliate commissions as their products go live.  Aidan suggests that if you focused on this area alone, it’s quite feasible to generate $50K – $100K per year in commissions.

On top of this there are multiple videos on cleaning up with email marketing.  This is such a powerful method of marketing, it’s essential to understand the ins and outs.  As the saying goes, “the money is in the list”.

So, What’s My Opinion?

As usual Brian has completely over delivered and created a product offering huge value compared to anything else out there.  I bought George Brown’s Google Sniper product a few months ago and Rank and Pillage completely blows it out of the water.

If you’re a beginner or intermediate wanting to learn internet marketing and be guided on a clear path you cannot fail with, you cannot go past this course.  You will not be disappointed.  I completely stand behind this recommendation
